" How to deal with picky eaters"
Many toddlers go through a picky eating phase, that’s completely normal ! At Little angels we use gentle and fun ways to help children enjoy their meal time.
We introduce new foods slowly, often alongside with their favorites, so they feel comfortable trying something new by giving them choices like do you want an apple or a banana. This will make them feel involved and curious about the food.
Making food colorful also helps, we serve colorful plates and use playful shapes to make meals exciting. Instead we praise small steps like tasting a new bite and keep mealtimes calm and happy.
With patience and creativity, even the picky eaters learn to enjoy their meal.
" A day at little angels"
At little angels each day is full of fun, learning, and care. Morning starts with rhymes, and circle time, followed with play-based activities that boost creativity and confidence.
Children enjoy healthy snacks, rest and outdoor exploration, with music, and story telling.
Everyday ends with happy goodbyes, leaving children curious, confident, and excited to learn.
'' activities and learning"
At Little Angels, both infants and toddlers benefit from a nurturing, play-based learning programme designed to support their early development in a safe and loving environment.
Infants engage in gentle sensory activities such as soft music, tummy time, textured toys, visual stimulation, and guided play to develop their senses, motor skills, and early bonding, while toddlers participate in creative activities like drawing, painting, simple
crafts, storytelling, phonics, rhymes, counting, shape recognition, and interactive games to build early literacy and numeracy skills. Physical development is encouraged through indoor and outdoor play, including crawling, walking practice, climbing, dancing, and ball games, while social and emotional skills are nurtured through group interaction, sharing, routine building, and positive guidance.
Daily care routines also help both age groups develop comfort, confidence, independence, and healthy habits.
" Parents engagement and communication"
At Little Angels, we strongly value parent engagement and maintain clear, consistent communication through a dedicated online dashboard integrated into our website, where parents can easily access daily reports, updates, and feedback about their child’s activities, progress, meals, and wellbeing in real time. We also keep parents connected through a WhatsApp group for quick announcements, reminders, photos, and important notices. To strengthen the bond between parents and children, we organize special Children Pampering Days filled with fun, care, and celebration, while informative webinars and virtual sessions are conducted to guide parents on child development, parenting tips, and early learning support, creating a strong partnership between home and daycare.
"School preps"
The School Prep program at Little Angels is thoughtfully designed to equip children with the skills, confidence, and readiness needed for a smooth transition into primary school.
The program focuses on strengthening early literacy and numeracy through phonics, basic reading, writing practice, number recognition, simple problem-solving, and structured learning activities. Alongside academics, strong emphasis is placed on developing independence, self-discipline, time management, and the ability to follow instructions.
Children also engage in social and emotional learning that promotes teamwork, communication, respect, and self-expression, helping them adapt comfortably to a structured school environment.
Through a balanced mix of guided lessons, creative tasks, interactive play, and positive encouragement, the School Prep program nurtures well-rounded, confident learners who are academically prepared and socially ready for their next educational journey.
